There are two main methods for the free damping layer treatment of the box. One is that the entire box covers the damping layer, which can reduce all resonance peak response, and the effect is better, but the utilization rate of the damping material is not high and the heat of the box is not easy. Another method is to perform local damping treatment in a portion with severe vibration, which can improve the utilization of the damping material and achieve the effect of reducing the vibration level. Since the mechanism of damping is relatively complicated, only the form of proportional damping is considered here. By changing the structural parameters to improve the vibration of the gearbox, the following points should be noted:
(1) The reasonable arrangement of structural rigidity is to strengthen the weak link of the rigidity of the gearbox structure, to reasonably arrange and balance the stiffness, to improve the overall rigidity of the gearbox as much as possible, so as to improve the resonance frequency of the gearbox structure and reduce the vibration response. However, the increase in stiffness may increase the overall weight and volume of the gearbox. Therefore, in the process of gearbox vibration control, the motor test should properly distribute and balance the rigidity of the gearbox case to ensure the overall rigidity of the gearbox to the maximum extent, while ensuring that the weight and volume of the gearbox are constant. Achieve the anti-vibration purpose of the gearbox structure.
(2) Reasonable distribution of structural quality In the case of the same mass and volume, the distribution of mass has a significant influence on the modal frequency of the gearbox. The more compact the mass distribution, the higher the fundamental frequency of the gear. Therefore, when changing the structural form of the gearbox to achieve the purpose of controlling the vibration of the gearbox, the components of the gearbox should be made as compact as possible, so that the resonance frequency of the gearbox can be increased, resonance can be avoided, and the vibration level can be reduced.
(3) Additional damping treatment of the structure When changing the stiffness and mass of the structure and avoiding the resonance frequency or a new formant, the vibration amplitude should be considered. Increasing the additional damping of the structure is the most effective way to reduce the amplitude of the vibration. There are many ways to increase the additional damping, but considering the utilization of the damping material and the heat dissipation of the gearbox, only partial processing of the gearbox can achieve a more ideal effect, that is, local damping treatment is performed in a portion with a large vibration response. . This is because the stronger the vibration, the larger the deformation, the larger the damping loss, and the greater the vibration energy loss, thereby lowering the vibration level.
